Baking together is great for looking at words and numbers in a recipe book and counting out when measuring ingredients. Counting how many cups of flour to use, stirring 10 times or checking the book to see how many eggs to use. It is a great time to chat together about what you are doing and for them to see how reading and recognizing numbers is important and used in everyday situations.
