Play I spy with my little eye using colours, shapes, objects, or letter sounds. e.g. 'I spy with my little eye something the colour red'.   Try something they are familiar with as in 'I spy something I wear on my feet', 'I spy something we eat', 'I spy something square'.  Or if you have been learning letter sounds then 'I spy something that starts with the sound b (make the sound instead of saying the letter).
